Journalism is constantly changing with the avalanche of information that has become available in the past couple of decades. While many journalists see an exciting frontier to conquer, going out and getting the "big scoop," I fear for the people being left behind due to the fast-paced news cycle. It is my belief that we as journalists should focus on the stories that matter to those without a platform to share both their grievances and their achievements as a community.
