In 2018 I started my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Oregon, where I attended the School of Journalism and Communications. During this time I set my sights on working at the student newspaper. Between the classes I took and the work I did throughout my college career, I could only ever think about using my skills to help better the lives of those who need it the most. From environmental issues to the plight of marginalized communities, I thought about all the good I could contribute to the world through communication and dialogue.
I am often described as driven, authentic, empathetic, and strong-willed. Using a strong sense of empathy, I believe my ability to tap into the emotions of the subjects I am writing about — or writing for — gives my words an extra edge to cut through audiences and reach them.
